This last Marchs meeting featuring John Rippenger of the Lima Lima Flight team was a Sell Out, We had the meeting in the downstairs pilots Lounge by the vending machines, we filled up the whole place with about 50 in attendance.
Pat Lubas picked up about 12 pizzas for this hungry group and some pop and coffee to wash it down Carol made some tasty dessert and Randy the chopper pilots wife made the best homemade oatmeal cookies I ate 6 of them.
I would guess we were all full and entertained that nite. All this for $20.00 a year dues -gimme a break !!!
For those that missed it we learned a lot about precision formations and they do encounter IMC enroute to a show and fly in some really wish I wasnt here weather.John was extremely prepared and a very good speaker Thanks RIP !!
Our regular meeting was held after John .Most of our board heads gave a report Except for Darren ,my son the V.P and social chair he was at home recovering from hernia surgery _GET WELL Darren..
Next John gave his money report.I guess we took some in and spent some so just take in more than we spend would be a safe bet eh John??
Kathleen explained that we are now taking orders for the Short sleeved golf and T shirts with or without pockets--- your choice !!They will be a cool grey color with the logo.If you still want a sweat shirt we can still get them let us know what size you want.
We also are reordering some more hats.We sold out .They will be at the next meeting or sooner..Let us know how many you want..We will have an order ticket on line look at www.06c.org for details..

This is IMPORTANT STUFF..Our fly-outs will be the weekend following our monthly meeting.On a Saturday with Sunday as the rain date.BUT if Saturday is rained out or the weather sucks come to 06c anyway, we will go for food locally as a group--- its fun too..At the meeting we will have a sign -up sheet for those of you that have a plane and for those that need a ride, as well.We will match you guys up.It should be a good system.
With regards to the FLY MARKET and the PIG ROAST and other neat ideas the board has come up with we need your help and ideas too, let Randy know if you want to help or have an idea or so
Give the 20% that are doing 80 % a break. Randy could use some website help give him a call if you have that expertise.
Do you have a favorite $100.00 hamburger joint let us know we will fly there..
Im supposed to go to Sun & Fun by Ercoupe leaving April 13 th I have a group coming from Wausau Wis going with- any of you guys are welcome to fly in formation with us or ahead we should be back sometime in the Fall (HA HA !!)
The April Meeting will have Poplar Grove Engine Shop. They are considered one of the best around -PERIOD !! come to that meeting you should learn something… thats it for now….. Den
