I think we covered a lot of good topics at our last meeting .We have a spectacular response for help from our membership for our up coming PICNIC which , by the way, WAS APPROVED by the Schaumburg Village. They issued us a PERMIT for our event. The Picnic will be located in the grassy area to the west of the FBO in the gated area. We ask those of you that are helpers to be there at 10 AM for set up- coffee and donuts will be provided. We will have a refrigerated truck to hold food items so those bringing specialties from home can keep them there. We will have additionally, hot dogs and Hamburgers along with Pork Roast sandwiches,chips and all types of pop and water. Im very glad this is working out as well as it has so far .Our friends from DuPage Pilots Assoc. will be here also to join in the fun. We will have music CDs and a Boom box bring your favorite CDs we will playem. If the weather doesnt cooperate we should have some canopy covers .Maybe a couple of games can be brought by some of you too. Pilots usually share hangar talk and Im sure we will have some really BAD jokes too (Im good for that as most of you know)Since the Picnic follows our next meeting we wont have a Flyout this month. Ill post some Flyouts so we can have one the next week since my plane should be done by then (HA HA ).

I do understand our last flyout diverted to Lewis for some fun and food thats good too. Some more GOOD NEWS, our glass showcase for the waiting area is going up for the vote at the Schaumburg Village in the next few days ,I recd a years contract from Brian Simmons to fill out. In the event that we get approval. Hey guys we are making a difference. Our membership has skyrocketed

We now have shirts and hats a lot of you wear and its nice to see .We ARE a family
Sort of….. lets keep the momentum. Come to the meetings. Julys meeting we have The TUSKEEGEE AIRMEN as guest speakers !!Lets have the best turn out ever. AUGUSTS meeting we have Waukegan Avionics talking on various topics including handhelds. This should be a good one for Q and A.

Our Junes meeting we will cover a lot of ground for the BBQ and have an ICE CREAM and POPCORN,,,, movie nite . CYA at the meeting we have a few more membership cards to pass out and a neat raffle. And coffee for those of you that need caffeine. Den (ask me if my plane is done yet )
